IIT Guwahati has announced the date of JEE Advanced 2023 Result on 18th June 2023 at 10 am. According to the schedule, JEE Advanced Result will be announced on 18-06-2023 on the official website www.jeeadv.ac.in. Candidates will be able to check their JEE Advanced 2023 Results, using their login credentials such as Roll Number, Date of Birth, and this page to get the direct link to check 2023 JEE Advanced results.
IIT Guwahati will also release category-wise All India Rank (AIR) JEE Advanced 2023 on the official portal after the announcement of the result. Students appearing for the examination will also receive a text message on their registered mobile numbers, however, individual JEE Advanced ranking cards will not be sent to candidates.
JEE Advanced Result 2023
The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Advanced Examination was held on 4th June 2023 in two shifts from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. A total of about 1,89,744 lakh candidates are registered for JEE Advanced 2023, out of which 180,226 students appeared for the examination this year. JEE Advanced 2023 conducting authority, IIT Guwahati releases cuts, results, and All India Rank (AIR) category-wise rankings for candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Nationals @jeeadv.ac.in
All candidates must simultaneously meet each one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023.
Performance in JEE (Main) 2023
Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates (including all categories) in B.E./B.Tech. Paper from JEE (Main) 2023.
The percentages for the different categories of candidates to be shortlisted are 10% for GEN-EWS, 27% for OBC-NCL, 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and the remaining 40.5% is open to all. Within each of these five categories, a horizontal reservation of 5% is available for PWD candidates.

The total number of candidates may be slightly greater than 2,50,000 in the presence of ‘tied‘ ranks/scores in any category.
Age limit
Candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1998. A five-year relaxation is granted to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, i.e. such candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1993.
Appearance in the Class XII examination (or equivalent)
- The candidate must have appeared for the class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2022 or 2023 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Candidates who appeared for the Class 12 Examination (or equivalent) for the first time in 2021 or earlier are not eligible to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2023, regardless of the subject combination attempted/offered.
Note: By appearing in the Class XII (or equivalent) examination, the respective board is presumed to have declared the result for that year regardless of whether the examination was held or not. It will be considered an appearance even if the result of a particular candidate is masked.
Information for Foreign National Candidates and OCI/PIO Card Holders
Foreign Candidates
- Candidates who are not (by birth or naturalized) citizens of India (but are not OCI/PIO candidates) are considered foreign nationals.
- Foreign candidates, at the time of registration for JEE (Advanced) 2023, are not required to write JEE (Main) 2023 and may register for JEE (Advanced) 2023 provided they meet the other eligibility criteria listed below.
- All foreign candidates will be considered in addition to, and not as part of, the 2,50,000 Indian national candidates who qualify to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2023.
- All seats reserved for foreign candidates will be in excess of a maximum of 10% of the total number of seats per session. Such candidates are out of the scope of reserving seats under categories/sub-categories/sub-categories of GEN-EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwD as specified in the JEE (Advanced) Information Brochure/Handbook 2023. There are no separate redundant seats or sub-categories for females in Seats to increase the number of foreign citizens.

Candidates are advised to keep their roll number and follow the steps below to download the scorecard or view the score:
- Visit the official website of Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2023 – jeeadv.ac.in.
- Click on the “IIT JEE Advanced Result Link”.

- Enter your roll number, date of birth, and phone number as required.
- Now, complete the captcha code.
- Submit the form and wait until JEE Advanced Result 2023 appears on the screen.
- Download and take a copy of JEE Advanced 2023 Result.
Tie-Breaking Rule JEE Advanced Result
When two or more candidates score the same marks in the JEE Advanced exam, tie-breaking rules are applied to determine their rank.

JEE Advanced Result 2023 Cut-off Marks
The cutoff is the minimum score a candidate needs to pass the JEE Advanced 2023 exam. It is different for each category, and all categories are considered. Only candidates who meet the cut-off will be eligible for counseling and seat allotment.
